Banele Mnqobi Njoko,  Mr. Gay SA finalist, a 3rd year honours student in Communication and Development at University of KwaZulu Natal  proves he can it too, Njoko is one of the Mr. Gay SA finalist who has been very busy and dedicated to the competition ever since he qualified for the top 12. Njoko has inspired a lot of young gay men to be themselves and be comfortable on their own skin. The young man who originally comes from one of the rural areas of KwaZulu-Natal where being gay is a taboo has worked on changing this attitude towards the people of KZN and SA as a whole. He has been very active on the competition and have made it very clear to people on what he is hoping to achieve which he believe the competition Mr. Gay SA will help him make a mark and be a successful young men, ''success is explained by what you are wishing to achieve'' He explains.
