With so much excitement around the 2nd largest awards show in the country (METRO FM MUSIC AWARDS), not everything is as glamorous as what you saw on TV last night on the live broadcast by SABC1 at 20h00. Besides the "cheating" of the results according to furious followers or rather say hard fans of the talented @ToyaDelazy @LloydCele and Donald who believe the results were cheated hence their favorite artists didn't win the awards they deserved to win... This matter is a bit complicated but I would believe the results were audited by an independent auditing company and they would not risk dragging their reputation down the mud, so I would think the results were fair, not that cheating the result was not possible. Owk, enough about what really doesn't involve us that much, here is the real drama and scam behind the well produced production aired last night... Tickets! After a dramatic morning because of JHB traffic, to start a day with a great smile wasn't a success at all but things looked great for a shoot in Daveyton in the end! Today I joined the Iranti-Org (A queer visual media organization) www.iranti-org.co.za to shoot a documentary that I will be leading, interviewing different queens about Gay & Transwomen beauty pageants and also people from outside the picture. The final product is set to come out by the end of the year so you can imagine the work we are yet to do! As we got in Daveyton today around 9am, and we were so late :-(! oh well, that not really the issue right now, is it? :-) We got there and the queen was ready for the camera! Miss Somizi that we went to photograph and interview who won Miss uThingo last year December, born and raised in Daveyton.  We shot the interview inside his cozy space and right after that we went to do a few shots by the main road of Daveyton eMaXhoseni, O.M.G!
