After 13 grueling weeks of emotional, physical and mental trials, 28 year old Midrand resident Johannes Mapalakanye won the coveted title of the Ultimate BAR.ONE Man. Season 3 of the BAR.ONE Manhunt took the Top 16 contestants and the viewers on a journey of discovering courage, leadership and integrity on a never-before-seen scale. The Old Mutual Carols by Candlelight concerts have become a mainstay of the festive season and are synonymous with giving to the less fortunate. This year is no different: on 30 November and 1 December, the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Gardens and Pretoria National Botanical Gardens (respectively) will reverberate to the sounds of Christmas carols.
